I'm energetic, curious and an almost painful (to people around me) early-rising. I'm a feminist and laicist activist, and I work towards respectful and inclusive communication. I believe in putting my profession at the service of the causes I consider to be fair. My livelihood and my passion match up, and that’s a privilege that I cannot afford to waste.

I almost forgot—I'm a very talkative and extrovert person, qualities I've put into use in many talks, workshops, seminars and conferences, such as:

I've been a freelance translator (Italian, English, Spanish) and proofreader/editor for over twenty years. I translate, review translations, subtitle and proofread. Some of the books I've translated are:

And I have also set foot in the press—I've worked as a TV host and journalist, and I've had a radio column on gender and literature.

I'm a member of several professional associations:

• International Association of Professional Translators and Interpreters, where I championed the creation of the Gender, Diversity & Inclusion Chapter (co-head 2022-2024)

And I facilitate workshops, of course. At Ciempiés, I'm responsible for the feminist book clubs and give talks, seminars and courses on translation, feminism, non sexist language and inclusive communication.

Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, from Italian parents, I've traveled in the opposite direction and now I wander across Europe with my partner in life and adventure.
